Food Safe Level 1

This 8 hour course is designed for food service workers in entry-level positions for the prevention of food borne illnesses. Also a good course for anyone wanting to learn the safe handling and preparation of food.  A Food Safe certificate from the Ministry of Health will be issued on successful completion of course & exam. According to Vancouver Coastal Health, it is recommends that Food Safe certificates be renewed every five years.

 

  • Certification: Vancouver Coastal Health recommends retraining every 5 years.

  • Time: 8 Hours - One day course (9:00am - 5:30pm)
  • Price: $ 90.00 (price includes taxes, textbooks and is subject to change).
  • Classes are limited to 24 students.
